Terms & Conditions
Last updated 2 August 2026
1. Who we are
Hushwall is operated by Fredrik Bernström ("we", "us"). These terms form the agreement between you and Fredrik Bernström for your use of the Hushwall website and service. You can reach us at support@hushwall.app.
2. Payments and merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Paddle's terms apply to the purchase transaction in addition to these terms.
3. The service
Hushwall generates a single continuous brown-noise soundscape in your browser. Visitors without a paid plan can listen for up to 10 minutes per day. Paid plans remove that limit. Hushwall is a comfort and focus aid — it is not a medical device and makes no health, hearing-protection or treatment claims.
4. Accounts and plans
You need an account to hold a plan. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the price shown at purchase until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that does not renew. Switching plans takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated by our payment provider.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, resell or sublicense access to a paid plan;
- circumvent the free listening limit, payment flow, or any technical restriction;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or redistribute the service or its audio engine;
- use the service unlawfully, or in a way that disrupts or overloads it.
6. Intellectual property
The Hushwall name, site, interface, code and audio engine remain the property of Fredrik Bernström. Your plan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own listening. No ownership is transferred.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or is the subject of a chargeback. Where a breach is minor we will contact you first. You may close your account at any time from your account page; deletion is permanent and cancels any active plan.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to keep Hushwall available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest revision. Material changes affecting active plans will be communicated by email before they take effect.
